Text: TO THE DANISH PEOPLE!

German troops crossed the Danish border during the night and have landed at various places. The Danish Government has, under protest, decided to arrange the affairs of the country under the occupation which has taken place, and has accordingly issued the following proclamation:

The German troops now present in the country are entering into contact with the Danish Government, and it is the duty of the population to refrain from any resistance against these troops. The Danish Government will endeavour to protect the Danish people and our country against the dangers resulting from the conditions of war, and therefore calls upon the population to maintain a calm and composed attitude towards the circumstances which have now arisen.
Peace and order must prevail throughout the country, and loyal conduct must be shown towards all who exercise authority.

Specialized literature also reports the existence of holsters (manufactured by bnz in 1944) bearing a P.35(b) marking instead of P.35(p). Specialists have put forward various theories to determine whether this is simply a stamping error or whether the letter (b) has another meaning (such as b for Belgium, with the FN Browning Model 35 as the intended recipient?).
At the present time, there is no definitive answer to this question, although the hypothesis of a simple stamping error appears to be the most credible. Please note the missing buttom. Looks like it was captured in April 1945

A French made service tunic for a Luftwaffe Helferin. Poor quality French material was used for this tunic which was made by Paulhan & Fils - Montpellier. It is maker marked and 1944 dated to the white linen lining. 42 C size marked. Machine-embroidered breast eagle period time re-attached by hand. All buttons complete.
There is a very interesting depot stamp to the lining: Zentrales Kleiderlager der Luftwaffe in Paris. The tunic is in very good condition. SCARCE!

Original French trench dagger Model 1916. These daggers were originally developed for trench warfare during the First World War. After the occupation of France in the Second World War, the daggers continued to be produced for the Wehrmacht and the Kriegsmarine and were designated as captured equipment under the name Dolch 116 (f). The manufacturer is the company “Gonon 41.”
Regarding the history of this dagger: the name of the dagger in the First World War, “Le Vengeur de 1870” (English: “The Avenger of 1870”), refers back to the humiliating behavior of the Prussian military in 1870, when
France lost the Franco-Prussian War.

The NSDAP promoted strong anti-tobacco propaganda during the Second World War. However, chewing tobacco and cigarettes were controlled and rationed through official Reich authorities due to their importance to the war economy and for supplying the soldiers.
If you are interested in learning more about the consumption of coffee,
tobacco, and tea in the Third Reich — and if you can read German — I can recommend the two books shown in the pictures. They make fascinating reading.

For example, did you know that Germany was the first country in the world to prohibit tobacco advertising?

Privately purchased jacket for a Kriegsmarine officer holding the rank of Kapitänleutnant (naval captain lieutenant).
The insignia are contemporarily sewn on. The officer’s breast eagle is hand-sewn. The cuff stripes on the sleeves are machine-sewn. Complete with all buttons and a ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Stitch marks for two decorations are visible. Based on the clear shadow
outlines, these are an Iron Cross 1st Class and a Fleet War Badge. The lining is made of fine black silk. Various signs of wear and age, but no significant damage.
